The narration proceeds quickly being a linear experience from every point of view, divided into missions for about 15 hours of play by sections of 30-40 minutes each. A story that after all recalls Marvel's man of steel, but which converts it into a fantasy sauce to talk about the growth of such a rediscovered heroine, whose ideals will inevitably shape the resolution of the war in hand. The conflict is experienced by the player through the role of Kipuna: a girl apparently like many others who, however, ends up being stabbed by a strange magical fragment, which awakens an unknown latent power in her and keeps her alive as long as it is stuck on her chest. ![]() That is until the threat from the North leads a witch to march a legion of flesh and iron soldiers across the green hills of Kalevala, starting an invasion war that the pacifist people have never asked for. This gave birth to the city of Kalevala, the nerve center of civilization around which the various villages that live in harmony have developed. The setting of Iron Danger takes us to a divided world, where humans and gods have taken a different path a long time ago. Certainly an interesting prospect that intends to promise a new experience of its kind. No role-playing trappings like equipment and levels, just crude commands to be entered in chunks of seconds as if the player were editing snippets of a video. ![]() Iron Danger presents itself as a title that brings a breath of fresh air to the cRPG landscape, thanks to its ability to convert the manipulation of time into a game mechanic. A story of divinity and war, lived through the eyes of a heroine who found herself such without her knowledge, involved in a conflict awakened by her ancient power. Iron Danger is an adventure that begins with apparent demise, conceived by Action Squad Studios and published by Daedalic Entertainment. Stories that start from the dead always have a charm of their own, full of magical elements that blend with an underlying mysticism capable of changing entire ecosystems.
